Hartung Park

Hartung Park is a true Wauwatosa hidden gem and features hilly grounds with trails, a pond, a stone labyrinth, a playground with swings and bongos, and outdoor fitness equipment, as well as a seasonal farmer’s market that runs on Wednesdays from June through September. Along with these outdoor activities, the picturesque labyrinth park is great for tranquil mediation and there are many bronze fossil statues displayed that can be used for learning about Wisconsin’s rich geological history.

Built on the site of a former quarry, Hartung Park is a Milwaukee public park as well as a Wauwatosa park as it is operated by both the City of Milwaukee and City of Wauwatosa. This Tosa park uses green infrastructure to keep water pollution out of Milwaukee area rivers and Lake Michigan.
