Tosa Restaurant Week is quickly approaching. This all-new 10-day event brings friends and family together to discover the tastes of Tosa, while taking advantage of specially priced meals and bites. From March 3-13, 2022, Wauwatosa’s local restaurants and small businesses will participate in this epic, can’t-miss event.

The Menu

Each participating restaurant will have one of the following, specially crafted menu offerings: 

  • Breakfast — $10
  • Three-Course Lunch — $15
  • Three-Course Dinner — $25 or $35
  • Tosa Tidbits — $8

Restaurant Week Offerings: $8 Tosa Tidbits

Nestled in the Renaissance Milwaukee West, Eldr+Rime is a new American, Scandinavian-inspired restaurant with an intimate atmosphere and delectable cuisine. This family-friendly restaurant’s name loosely translates to Fire + Ice to reflect the variety of cooking styles offered. They were recently voted ‘Best New Restaurant’ by Milwaukee Magazine’s Reader’s Choice.

Golden Nest Pancake & Cafe

Restaurant Week Offerings: $10 Breakfast

Located in the Mayfair Collection, Golden Nest Pancake & Cafe is the perfect brunch spot for the entire family. Serving up omelets, pancakes, crepes, and benedicts, Golden Nest knows how to do breakfast, lunch, and brunch the right way by catering to just about any craving — sweet or savory. When you visit, check out their Espresso Bar and full drink menu with specialty mimosas.

Restaurant Week Offerings: $15 Lunch & $25 Dinner

Close friends and co-founders, Dan and David, expanded Good City Brewing to the Mayfair Collection here in Wauwatosa. This friendly bar and scratch kitchen offers an impressive selection of local beer and delectable bar food, including sandwiches, burgers, giant pretzels, and cheese curds.

Il Mito Trattoria

Restaurant Week Offerings: $35 Dinner

A must-visit during your trip to our charming city, Il Mito Trattoria has been a Tosa food destination since 2006. Located in East Tosa, this Italian gem features homemade pasta, salads, signature soups, bread, cheese, and pizza — including, gluten-free options. Plus, catch Chef Michael Feker on Milwaukee’s WISN every Sunday morning with his show, “Our Dinner Bell.”

Plate Pleasures Eatery

Restaurant Week Offerings: $15 Three-Course Lunch

Serving up Southern charm in Wauwatosa, Plate Pleasures Eatery is a Black-owned and woman-owned business that offers all things crispy, crunchy and fried to perfection. Recently featured in Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for their Fish Fry, stop by this carry-out-only spot for an unforgettable taste of Tosa.

The Ruby Tap 

Restaurant Week Offerings: $8 Tosa Tidbits

A wine lover’s paradise located in Tosa Village, The Ruby Tap features wines on tap and self-service wine machines, as well as local Wisconsin beers, cheeses, meats, and desserts. This family-owned and women-owned neighborhood wine bar is the perfect spot if you drink wine, love wine, and love to drink wine.

The Village Cheese Shop

Restaurant Week Offerings: $8 Tosa Tidbits

The Village Cheese Shop is another small, women-owned business located in — you guessed it — The Village! This Tosa gem offers the best artisan and farmstead cheeses from producers in the region, across the country, and Europe. Owner, Sabina, is among the recipients of the American Cheese Society Certified Cheese Professionals (ACS, CCP) and brings her expertise and passion to Tosa Village.
