Tosa Restaurant Week is quickly approaching. This second-annual 10-day event brings friends and family together to discover the tastes of Tosa while taking advantage of specially priced drinks, bites, and meals.
When is Tosa Restaurant Week?
From March 23 – April 1, 2023, Wauwatosa’s local restaurants, breweries, and small businesses will participate in this epic, can’t-miss event.
What is Tosa Restaurant Week?
This week of food, deals, and hidden gems is celebrated to showcase the foodie destination that Wauwatosa truly is while providing Tosa local restaurants and breweries a chance to wow you with their inviting and delectable menus. This event only runs over a 10-day period, so make sure to experience all you can as soon as possible.
How it Works
We’ve mixed things up this year and let our participating restaurants and breweries decide what they’d like to showcase — they’re the experts after all! From prix fixe meals and BOGO Old Fashioneds to free cheese curds and discounts on confections — you’re sure to find a special offering to suit your pallet and budget throughout our five dynamic districts.

Get A Taste of the Good Stuff
Here’s a sampling — an amuse-bouche if you will — of what you’ll find during Tosa Restaurant Week from a handful of our participating businesses.
Eldr+Rime. Restaurant Week Offerings: For dinner service on Tuesday through Saturday (4-9PM) during Tosa Restaurant Week, Eldr+Rime will offer the following three-course meal for $45: Harvest Salad, Faroe Island Salmon, and their Signature Chocolate Chip Cookie with Sassy Cow Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert.
Nestled in the Renaissance Milwaukee West, Eldr+Rime is an American, Scandinavian-inspired restaurant with an intimate atmosphere and delectable cuisine. This family-friendly restaurant’s name loosely translates to Fire + Ice to reflect the variety of cooking styles offered. They were recently voted ‘Best New Restaurant’ by Milwaukee Magazine’s Reader’s Choice.
Good City Brewing. Restaurant Week Offerings: Discover Good City Brewing’s special Tosa Restaurant Week menu for $39.95, which consists of your choice of one starter, choice of one supper club item, choice of one draft beer (with meal), and an espresso martini dessert cocktail.
Close friends and co-founders, Dan and David, expanded Good City Brewing to the Mayfair Collection here in Wauwatosa. This friendly bar and scratch kitchen offers an impressive selection of local beer and delectable bar food, including sandwiches, burgers, giant pretzels, and cheese curds.
Il Mito Trattoria. Restaurant Week Offerings: Enjoy the following three-course menu for $33 during Tosa Restaurant Week: your choice of a salad or appetizer (course 1), a pasta or en entrée (course 2), and dessert (course 3). Excludes Fridays and Saturdays.
A must-visit during your trip to our charming city, Il Mito Trattoria has been a Tosa food destination since 2006. Located in East Tosa, this Italian gem features homemade pasta, salads, signature soups, bread, cheese, and pizza — including, gluten-free options. Plus, catch Chef Michael Feker on Milwaukee’s WISN every Sunday morning with his show, “Our Dinner Bell.”
Plate Pleasures Eatery. Restaurant Week Offerings: Enjoy Plate Pleasures Eatery’s Lunch Special (12-2PM; excludes Sundays) during Tosa Restaurant Week for a free beverage with any $20 purchase.
Serving up Southern charm in Wauwatosa, Plate Pleasures Eatery is a Black-owned and woman-owned business that offers all things crispy, crunchy, and fried to perfection. Recently featured in Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for their Fish Fry, stop by this carry-out-only spot for an unforgettable taste of Tosa.
The Village Cheese Shop. Restaurant Week Offerings: For Tosa Restaurant Week, enjoy The Village Cheese Shop’s seasonal cheese board complete with a special selection of three cheeses paired with three wines and accompaniments — all for $21.
The Village Cheese Shop is another small, women-owned business located in — you guessed it — The Village! This Tosa gem offers the best artisan and farmstead cheeses from producers in the region, across the country, and Europe. Owner, Sabina, is among the recipients of the American Cheese Society Certified Cheese Professionals (ACS, CCP) and brings her expertise and passion to Tosa Village.
