Support Local with Takeout Brunch

Somehow, Sunday brunch doesn’t feel like other meals and if you’re anything like us, it’s something you are probably missing from your weekly routine. Since quite a few things have changed as of late, we want to make sure you can still enjoy delicious brunch – or as close to brunch – options from your Tosa favorites, takeout style!

BelAir Cantina

This Tosa Mexican staple offers tacos, mouthwatering margaritas and more. Relish in quesadillas stuffed with melted cheese and your choice of protein  – including steak, shrimp, portabella mushrooms, spicy pollo or pollo verde – breakfast burritos with housemade chorizo, or a Veracruzin’ taco plate packed with organic scrambled eggs and fresh toppings. BelAir Cantina is open for pickup and delivery through DoorDash, UberEats, EZ Cater and Grubhub.

Ono Kine Grindz

Aloha! Hawaiian food isn’t the norm around here, which is what makes this little market deli a fun brunch option! Despite being  closed on Sundays, they’ve recently introduced several pre-packaged family meals that are ready for you to heat and eat at your leisure. The ‘Everyday is Sunday Grocery Box’ hits home by introducing American comfort with a Hawaiiian twist. The box includes Kona coffee, North Shore peanut butter, Hawaiian Sun jam or jelly, chocolate macadamia nuts, Hawaiiian Sun pancake mix and syrup, and lastly, a six-pack of Aloha Maid juice. Other delightful options include the Hilo family meal, Honolulu meal, and Lahaina meal kit. Ono Kine Grindz offers both curbside takeout and free delivery in Wauwatosa.

Cranky Al’s

While Cranky Al’s may not be specific to brunch per se, there are still plenty of options to choose from. Everything from breakfast pizzas – made with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon or an assortment of veggies – to muffins, cinnamon rolls, and of course, doughnuts! In case you didn’t know, this doughnut hotspot offers vegan and gluten-free options. Although open for takeout, you’ll need to place your order by noon the day prior.

The Fermentorium Barrel House

You can’t have brunch without some brews, right? Even though The Fermentorium is closed on Sunday’s, you can plan ahead and stock up on your favorite beers earlier in the week. Available for pick-up, you can enjoy the quirkiest beer options you’ve ever heard of —think Apricot Juice Packets IPA, Blue Flowers Ale, Breakfast in America IPA, Coffee Sweater Weather Stout and more.

North Avenue Grill – New American Diner

American favorites are in full force at North Avenue Grill. Skillets, omelets, waffles, pancakes, wraps, soups, avocado toast…the list goes on. Pair one of these tasty dishes with their nitro cold brew, because coffee pairs with everything! The diner is currently open for carryout.

Yo Mama!

A sweet treat after brunch is a must…at least for us. Yo Mama! is a frozen yogurt shop in Tosa available for carryout and curbside pickup. You can choose from an assortment of froyo flavors including birthday cake, dutch chocolate, pistachio, etc. and sorbet flavors including pink lemonade and raspberry lime mojito. Delectable toppings are also included. If you have kiddos at home, a great option would be the four-pint party pack!

Each business operates differently and their carryout, curbside, and delivery services may vary so visit their websites and social profiles or give them a call for the latest updates. If you aren’t a brunch person or want to hold off from ordering out, you can also support our local restaurants by purchasing gift cards for future use! Brighter days are ahead, and we can’t wait to visit and dine in our favorites in the very near future.
