DINE BOLDLY AT TOSA RESTAURANT WEEK | MARCH 23 - APRIL 1 - EVENT DETAILS
A fresh, new year brings fresh, new local businesses throughout Wauwatosa — and we’re so excited to give you a sneak peek into a few places to look forward to visiting once they officially open in 2023.
With a name that draws you right in, Delicious Bites will be the perfect Tosa addition to cater to your sweet tooth. Serving up freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and countless flavors of cupcakes, you can expect nothing but excellence paired with a warm greeting as soon as you step in the door of this Black-and-woman-owned business.
Fiddleheads Coffee Roasters
A Milwaukee-area favorite since 1996, Fiddleheads Coffee Roasters hand-picks their green coffee beans so you get the highest quality brew possible with each visit. Opening in Wauwatosa’s MidTown district, this all-new coffee shop will be an excellent spot for working remotely or simply grabbing a cup of joe before you head out to explore our charming city.
Joy Ice Cream
A family-owned-and-operated ice cream shop, Joy Ice Cream will be another cheerful addition to MidTown Tosa. With a logo created by Whitney Nettles and the finest ice cream flavors made by Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream, Joy Ice Cream will focus on highlighting small, local businesses and makers while scooping the good stuff for our community and visitors.
Kwench Juice Cafe
Showcasing all-natural ingredients and the freshest fruit and vegetables available, Kwench Juice Cafe will offer juices, smoothies, and acaí bowls at its all-new location in MidTown Tosa. Kwench avoids powders, sugars, and dairy to ensure that your order is as nutritious as possible.
The Little Village Play Café
The Little Village Play Café in East Tosa will soon be the ultimate place for kids to play and parents to mingle over a cup of coffee or bakery treat. Centered around a safe and clean environment, children can soon interact with peers and enjoy educational learning opportunities.
Plus, there will be plenty of chances for parents to take art classes with kids in the community room in addition to other kid-friendly activities!
Maggio’s Wood Fired Pizza
In 2015, Jeremy Maggio originally built a wood fire oven on a trailer for catering — today, he and Andy Fries are taking this vision from wheels to brick-and-mortar with Maggio’s Wood Fired Pizza. Their new home in East Tosa will serve up fresh, made-to-order pizzas to the Wauwatosa community and beyond.
