It’s the most wonderful time of the year — Summerfest 2023 is officially here! From a jam-packed live music line-up to rocking out to your favorite bands and musicians, see how you can complete your epic summer festival experience in Wauwatosa, WI.
Where to Stay for Summerfest
Located just a 10-minute drive from Henry Maier Festival Park, Wauwatosa is the perfect place to stay during Summerfest. Avoid the downtown crowds while getting a taste of our walkable European-esque city.
Immerse yourself in all of the events and live music Summerfest has to offer, then venture back to Wauwatosa for a crisp, craft beer from a local brewery, plenty of small, local boutiques and businesses, and places to rest easy with numerous cozy and convenient hotel options.
How to Get To Summerfest
Head to Camp Bar Tosa for a drink or two before the concert and pick up their shuttle from the bar to the Summerfest North or South Gates.
Milwaukee County Transit Connect is another great option for getting to and from Wauwatosa and the concert. Hop on the CONNECT 1 BRT ride (which is FREE to Summerfest riders throughout the 2023 festival!) for the smoothest, quietest, and most eco-friendly ride around town. This transit option runs every 10-15 minutes along the nine-mile route from Wauwatosa’s Watertown Plank Road Park and Ride lot to downtown Milwaukee.
